thin udon served cold with shrimp and enoki shrooms

saba

roasted quail with a teriyaki vinaigrette and fois gras

poke trio: octopus and two types of tuna

dessert: panna cotta =D

tuli bistro, downtown sacramento

politically incorrect meat: veal sweetmeats. sinfully delicious.

i think this was my favorite because it's the best gnocchi i've had. it has some sausage and spinach this this really good lemony sauce.

lambchops. pretty good, but i'd have to say that the lambchops at ruth's chris are better. probably has to do with the butter they use to sear it, but that's just me. in the picture it looks kinda dry.

kona pork pizza with serrano peppers. the peppers made up for how sweet the bbq sauce was on the pork. usually i don't like cooked pineapples on my pizza, but i needed it to balance out the peppers =p

trip to l.a.: roscos chicken and waffles. i enjoyed this meal immensely with their red rooster sauce. now i can't eat chicken without a hot sauce similar to it =p

hamamori in south coast plaza off of harbor blvd. there was a $$$$ next to the name in the booklet but it was the only place open for dinner aside from del taco so we decided to try it. the oysters came with three sauces, a ponzu sauce, plum, and a flavored vinegar. the oysters were small, the way i like it.

texas bbq in woodinville, wa. i know i don't seem like the kind to go to that kind of a place, but for ribs that yummy? of course you'll find me there. the potato salad is really good too =) so here what i have is a full rack of ribs. the price keeps going up, but i still think it's worth it for the time being. plus it's picnic style eating with a roll of paper towel on each table so you can be as messy as you want.

matt's hotdogs you can find them in various locations all through the seattle area. these are kraut dogs. i like them because they only have sourkraut on em =P

mikuni's in downtown sacramento. i've decided i only like the midtown mikunis and taro's. not a fan of the roseville location or the elk grove location. still haven't tried the original yet.

these oysters have ponzu sauce along with onions and sriracha. sprinkle the lemon on and you've got quite the party in your mouth ^_^

this roll is the kobe on fire which has seared kobe beef on top, along with tuna, shrimp and even some cornflakes. super good.

all time favorite, sea steak. gotta love tuna.

dessert: cheesecake burrito. it has raspberry and caramel sauce drizzled all over the plate. so good i didn't want to share at all hehe.
